OK, this happened to Don and Jackie this afternoon but was too funny to pass up here! We've been giving the kids lots of juice and water during our visits, so we have also had to take them 'potty' to keep the caregivers off our backs. When the kids go to the bathroom in their rooms, they literally 'sit on the pot'...like a bedpan crossed with a cooking pot sort of thing. Anyway, they all know the drill. Interestingly, the fellas understand what to do when we take them to the 'big potty' and hold them up to do their thing, even though the toilet is a novel thing for them.
Well, today, Don took Artoomie to the bathroom and accomplished his mission with relative ease. Upon putting him down on the floor to pull up his underwear, without hesitation Artoomie reached his hand into the water and proceeded to splash Don in the face! Not exactly the toilet water that you pay big bucks for at the salon, eh? Yuck!
