Lions, and Tigers, and Bears...OH MY!
Russie Clark had his first visit to the zoo today! We went to the Houston Zoo for the first time since we have lived here. Aside from it being a little hot (no...not in TX!), we had a great time. Ali brought her friend, Sierra, and fun was had by all. Clark loved the monkeys best of all...I do believe. It is just so neat for us to watch our little guy experience all these new things. It is wonderful to imagine seeing things through his little eyes....everything is new, everything is exciting. He examines everything...a plane up above, a flower on a bush, a frog in the yard, OR...a monkey in a zoo! What a gift we have been given to be able to watch him explore and learn so much about our world.

How Adorable.... again.... first's had by all.... where are those people who were saying "Oh, you won't get to experience his first....things/... hum... wonder what these were.... could they have been first for all... I think so... Thanks for sharing your first zoo trip with us all. I totally love the zoo, especially the monkeys. So much like people... it is scary. LOL Have a wonderful weekend... we are a little chilly here in Louisville, it only reached 71 today.... burrrrrr LOL great weather, considering the hot summer we had... love to all...
Hi Rachel..I was getting caught up on all the "firsts" for little Russie Clark. So exciting seeing how he experiences all that the U.S.A. has to offer. Loved the video of him putting his "babies" to bed..so cute :). Way to go, Ali, on getting back into swimming again & good luck with 6th grade..you have an EXCELLENT teacher :).
Rachel, I appreciate your prayer request for Dad in your blog...that REALLY means alot to us.
